This month, we are shining our spotlight on a woman who is building her legacy in Cleveland through the art of dance with a heart for service. 

Lauren Jabel burst onto the professional Cleveland dance scene in 2015 as the youngest member of the Cleveland Cavalier Girls. After four years of electrifying performances and a championship ring, Lauren began working in the hospitality industry while she pursued her degree in Marketing from Cleveland State. 

If you’ve been to a bar here at Flats East Bank, you’ve probably seen her. She is well-loved at Good Night John Boy, FWD Day + Night Club, Welcome to the Farm, and Inferno. Most recently, she joined the team at Lago and Sora as their Social Event and Marketing Coordinator. 

But that wasn’t enough for this enterprising young woman, whose passion lies where the hospitality and entertainment worlds collide. Last year, she launched her own heels performance group, Indulge, and has been able to work with her favorite places at Flats East Bank in a new way. Her dance company delivered an unforgettable performance at Lago’s New Years Eve 2023 soiree and made a special appearance at Rum Runner’s Industry Ball Cirque De Soleil on Sunday, January 29 to celebrate all those who work in the service industry. 

From content creation to choreography, Lauren is taking Cleveland by storm and empowering the women around her to join her on her journey. She is an inspiration to us all, proving that hard work, dedication, and passion for what you do can lead to amazing things!
